Insight Art Journal Terms of Use & Privacy Policy

Terms of Use

Effective October 15, 2026

Welcome. These terms apply to insightartjournal.com and to everything offered through it, including memberships, subscriptions, courses, workshops, seasonal programs, and products (together, "Offerings"). By using the site or purchasing any Offering, you agree to them.

Who we are

Insight Art Journal and its Offerings are run by Pam Hausner, a sole proprietor based in Prairie Village, Kansas. When these terms say "I" or "me," that's Pam. You can reach me at pam@insightartjournal.com.

Offering details

Each Offering has its own sales page, checkout page, or FAQ that describes its price, billing schedule, what's included, and any dates or cutoffs that apply. Those details are part of these terms for that Offering. Where an Offering's page is more specific than these terms, the Offering's page applies.

Billing

Prices are shown at checkout. Recurring Offerings, such as monthly or seasonal memberships, renew automatically on the schedule shown at checkout until you cancel. One-time purchases are charged once. Payments are processed securely by Stripe through the Systeme.io platform, and I never see or store your full card number.

If I change the price of a recurring Offering you're already enrolled in, I'll email you at least 30 days before the new price applies, so you have time to decide whether to continue.

Cancelling

You can cancel a recurring Offering anytime from your account or by emailing me. Cancellation stops future charges. Some Offerings have a cutoff date or mailing schedule, listed on the Offering's page, that determines whether a cancellation takes effect before the next cycle.

For online Offerings, access ends when the cancellation is processed, including access to past lessons and recordings, unless the Offering's page says otherwise. If you rejoin later, access returns with your new enrollment.

Refunds

Payments are non-refundable, including partial billing periods, unless an Offering's page says otherwise. If something has gone wrong with a charge, write to me and I'll make it right.

Online access

Online Offerings are for your personal use while your access is active. Content and schedules may change over time. Please don't share your login.

Mailed items

Some Offerings include items mailed to you. Shipping regions and mailing schedules are listed on each Offering's page. Please keep your mailing address current in your account, since I can't resend items mailed to an old address. Contents may vary from one mailing to the next, and extras described as occasional aren't guaranteed.

If a mailing is lost or arrives damaged, email me within 14 days.

My work and yours

The lessons, videos, audio, writing, prompts, frameworks, printables, and art prints in my Offerings belong to me. You're welcome to use them for your own personal practice. Please don't copy, resell, or redistribute them, or teach them as your own, without my written permission.

The art you make is yours. When you share images of your work in an Offering's community space, you keep ownership and give me permission to display it inside that Offering. I'll always ask before sharing anyone's work publicly, such as on social media or the website.

Community care

Some Offerings include a shared community, and that space depends on everyone feeling safe. Please treat other members with kindness and respect. Keep what others share private and don't repost it elsewhere. Harassment, hateful speech, and promotion of your own business without permission aren't allowed. I may remove content or end an enrollment that harms the community.

Not therapy

My Offerings are contemplative and creative practice for personal growth. They aren't therapy, counseling, or medical treatment, and they aren't a substitute for care from a qualified professional. Practices like meditation and art journaling can sometimes bring up difficult material. Please take care of yourself, go at your own pace, and seek professional support if you need it.

Limits of responsibility

I work hard to keep things running smoothly, but the site and Offerings are provided as they are, and I can't promise they'll always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, my total responsibility for any claim related to an Offering is limited to what you paid for that Offering in the three months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. If a change is significant, I'll email current members before it takes effect. Continuing your enrollment after that means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas.

Privacy Policy

Effective October 15, 2026

I collect only what I need to run Insight Art Journal and the memberships, courses, and products offered through insightartjournal.com ("Offerings"), and I never sell your information. This policy explains what I collect and how it's used.

Who's responsible

Insight Art Journal and its Offerings are run by Pam Hausner, a sole proprietor in Prairie Village, Kansas. Questions or requests go to pam@insightartjournal.com.

What I collect

  • Information you give me: your name, email address, and billing details when you join or sign up for emails, plus your mailing address if an Offering includes mailed items, plus anything you choose to share in your Offering's community space or send me directly.

  • Payment information: handled by Stripe. I see only limited details, like the last four digits of your card and whether a payment went through.

  • Usage information: basic data such as which lessons you've opened, your device and browser type, and general location from your IP address. This comes from the platforms the site runs on and from cookies.

How I use it

  • To give you access to your Offerings and keep your account working

  • To mail items included in an Offering

  • To process payments and send receipts

  • To send lesson updates, news, and occasional offers (you can unsubscribe from marketing emails anytime)

  • To answer your questions and support requests

  • To understand what's working so I can improve my Offerings

Services that help run IAJ

A few trusted services process information on my behalf, each under its own privacy policy:

  • Systeme.io hosts the website, memberships, checkout, and email

  • Stripe handles payments

  • Bunny.net hosts videos

  • Zoom for live sessions, if you attend

  • US Postal Service delivers mailed items

Your mailing address is used only to send items included in your Offerings.

I share information with these services only as needed to run IAJ. I may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Cookies

The site uses cookies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and measure traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the membership may not work without them.

Keeping your information

I keep account and payment records while you're a member and for as long afterward as needed for tax and legal purposes. If you ask me to delete your information, I'll remove what I'm not required to keep.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information I hold about you by writing to pam@insightartjournal.com. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Depending on where you live, such as the EU or California, you may have additional rights, and I'll honor those requests.

Security

I use reputable platforms with standard security protections, and payments are encrypted. No system online is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and keep your login private.

Children

My Offerings are meant for adults 18 and older. I don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If I make significant changes, I'll update the date above and let members know by email.
