THANK YOU!

Your Metta Mandala Video is Ready

As the mandala is constructed from the center outward, the creative process becomes a physical expression of expanding care and connection. The completed mandala can then serve as a meditation object.

Materials

  • Personal photographs (optional – self at various ages or loved ones)

  • Photos of beloveds

  • Junk mail, catalogs, and old greeting cards

  • Cardboard packaging circles (lids, cereal boxes, mailing inserts)

  • Magazine pages or damaged books

  • Used envelopes and old calendars

  • Scrap ribbon, tissue paper, or gift wrap remnants

After You Finish the Video

Take a moment to simply sit with your mandala.

Notice how the circle widened — from yourself, to loved ones, to neutral people, to difficult people, to all beings.

You might also notice how materials that once felt ordinary or discardable now belong to something intentional.

This is the heart of Insight Art Journal — using the creative process as a way to practice awareness, compassion, and invite a wiser perspective in everyday life.

If this practice resonated with you, I invite you to explore more contemplative art experiences inside Insight Art Journal.

A practice of seeing, listening, and insight through the visual journal.
